How does an electronic cigarette explode?

Site blocked for me.

Even still I would not eat two packs WITHOUT soda pop. That stuff is nasty.
Might as well swallow calcium carbide and walk by a gas light and belch. (don't try this!)

As far as happening to anyone it's the lithium batteries...

They're everywhere. That state of the art bluetooth earpiece you have shoved in your canal or draped over your pinna? Yeah imagine if that exploded! D:

its just a mythbusters video where they used a pig stomach and put a whole mess of pop rocks and soda in it, and it didn't do much.

and you are crazy! pop rocks are AWESOME! 😉

the story about the guys cigarette is pretty horrifying though (and in a perversely humorous moment made me think of Better Off Dead, when Ricky's mom explodes her face).

Quoted for making me spit out water on my desk - by remembering better off dead. <3 that movie!!!

Don't know what actually happened, but wouldn't be surprised if this is part of a general campaign by the powers that be against these things.

They should replace tobacco with gun powder.

That would just burn real fast unless it was packed and sealed like firecracker.

Speaking of which does anyone remember those little tiny pellets you could buy at joke stores? They were probably 1mm in diameter and were pressed into the cigarette around the middle section. Heat set 'em off with a nice report often sending tobacco everywhere. (and scaring the crap out of the smoker!)
