Techniques that being learned and used is always forgotten after a period of 5 month passes. How to stay focus and have it like the back of ur hand???
 
I'm not a programmer, but I would assume it's the same as any other field.

Keep meticulous notes of old material, review them on a regular basis, put them to practice on personal side projects if you aren't using them for any active projects for work.
 
All programmers I know are *really* into programming. They don't just program at work but also on all their spare time, developing their own apps as a hobby, or contributing to open source projects..
