How do you unlock an AMD Athlon XP 2100+ Palomino

just an FYI, that 2100+ poly clock speed is its ceiling, you won't get much more performance out of that core. therefore, unlocking and raising the multi is pointless.
 
no one knows? I tried the L1 bridges first, then I did the L5 turning it into a mobile processor, but I still couldn't hot swap the multiplier with CPU MSR. Then I tired the wire trick, none of these worked and it annoys the heck out of me.
 
I remember the good ol pin trick, cross 2 certain pins and voila or you could use thermal tape and trip the bridges. Any way, search it on google if you really want to try and unlock it.
 
you have the fastest palomino, there is no faster. Unlocking it would be worthless because all you would be able to do is make it slower. Palomino's sux for OC. You might be able to push 5mhz fsb outta it.
