how do you turn off your computer?

just a thought. I always don't know why people don't hibernate it instead of shut down. you save at least 1min+ for it to load.

I usually let it run for 3 days, and then shut it down for a night. I just push the button once and it automatically initiates shutdown.

Have you ever wished there was a faster way to shutdown your Windows 2000 or Windows XP computer system? I mean instantly shut it down! Now you can! Just install Super Fast Shutdown and click on one of the desktop icons created to reboot or shutdown instantly.

It used to be here

but this product is no longer available.

It reboots and shuts down the computer instantly. It may not be 'healthy' (I use regular restart when installing new software,) but for every day reboots/shut down, I do it instantaneously with Superfast Shutdown 1.0.

It's like pulling the plug but without the CHKDSK.

On that topic, if you pull the plug, you may get CHKDSK which cannot be disabled permanently on Windows XP (it can only be disabled temporarily it seems). It could be disabled permanently on Windows 98/Me.

This is good for average user which may need to check their drives after bad shutdown but for experienced users who drive image all the time, this sucks.
