How do you tell the speed of the CPU?

I have a mother board with an AMD K6-2 CPU on it. I don't want to really hook it up. I just want to know the speed of the processor.

On the processor it reads:
amd-k6-2/333afr
2.2v core/3.3 i/o

Is it safe to assume it is a 333 Mhz CPU?

Thanks

he said he doesnt want to hook it up.

Wincpuid is a program that tells you information about your system, but you have to have it all set up and running windows.

ok i will take a leap of faith and tell you rthe speed of a cpu is usualy on the chip itself.

if is says

k6-2/333

then i would assume the chip is n AMD k6-2 running at 333Mhz 🙂

I'd agree and say 333.
