Speaking of Hyper-Threading showing up as dual processors...
A neighbor, few houses down, told me she bought a new computer that had two processors. I asked what she needed two processors for, she said the guy at the store said, "All Intel computers are being made like that now." Naturally that set off alarms in my head... so I checked it out, and she's got a P4 3.06 HT enabled computer that she paid $1800 for because the salesman told her it had two processors. He even booted it up for her in the store to show her that it recognizes both processors. Tomorrow I'm taking the computer back to the store with her to either return it, or get a partial refund since he flat out lied to her. One of those "mom & pop" computer stores... normally they're more honest and friendly than the big chains like Best Buy and Circuit City.
