How do you tell if DMA is enabled in XP

I can't find the tab we're all familiar with from the 9x series OSs. I want to know if it's enabled on my DVD and CDRW?

It can now be find in the Advanced Setting tab under the IDE ATA/ATAPI Controllers section of Device Manager.

To check what mode your devices are running in download the Via idetool. I can email you it if you're unable to find it.

You should know what device setting your DVD and CDRW are (e.g. Primary/Secondary Master/Slave)...I hope this helps! I also wanted to promote my site.
