How do you stream video through a router?

If the client machine is at 192.168.100.50 and the router changes it to 65.24.239.34, how do you get people to "hop" onto the stream? Where is it exactly? Both of those IP's get no results with Windows Media Encoder.

You'll probably have to setup NAT to route ALL 65.24.239.34 to be directed to 192.168.100.050 (are you sure the last octect is correct?). Anyways, that's what I have to do with my home LAN and DSL setup. I can use FTPs and everything. Once you get NAT working, you will stream the video through the 65.24.239.34 IP.

Good luck!

One more thing, be sure you have a firewall because hacking attempts will go and reach the client machine successfully.

So I take it that W9X can't do it. It'll have to be W2K, NT4.0, etc.

Oh, the last dot quad has somewhat of an extra zero in it. Of course, when it's entered, it'll be just 50, not 050.
