Every morning when I wake up, I have gas in my stomach. By the time I get to school, the gas becomes unbearable, and becomes somewhat of a distraction. I need to release gas but I can't because I'm at school. Is their any medicine or method to stop gas from forming in my stomach?

lol....

I do not think what you are describing is gas in your stomach.

If you had gas in your stomach, you would burp. :p

I find it amusing when people have physical ailments and they come up with stuff that doesen't really even make sense when you think about it for more than 0.05 seconds :p

Anyway, what you are probably describing is your stomach cramping because it is empty(and emptying itself). To most people, this feeling is very uncomfortable and demands immediate attention(eating will cure it nearly instantly).

I describe it as feeling like my stomach is imploding, lol..

No, it means I need to fart badly.

You do realize there are like what, 25 feet of intestines between your stomach and your ass, right?

Having gas in your stomach makes you burp, not fart.

I know exactly what you're talking about. I find that changing my diet (eat more fruits and veggies) and drinking soda can help a lot. And yes, it is GAS, because you can force it to go out either end if you try hard enough.

Umm...

You people have no concept of how our digestive system works, do you? :p

It's not like you can empty your intestines at will.

The food has to be digested first, for Christ's sake.

It was a joke coldcut, relax ;):)

I guess you never heard the joke about the elephant with the cork up it's butt :)

Ah, that reminds me of my uncle. When he'd burp or fart, he ask "Did I get any on ya, son?"

lol :D

Just rip a loud one in class and blame it on your next door classmate LOL!!!!!

Excuse me, from the bottom of my heart
If it would've came out the other way
It would've been a fart.

"Um... it was you."

I have had bad gas before and got to the point where those around me be damned. If I have to fart I have to fart. I see it as a physical ailment and nothing to be ashamed about.

I've been trying to burp it out forever and I've come the conclusion that I simply can't burp... ever. So are you saying that his pain is coming from his intestines ? I have the same problem... almost every morning and a lot of times during the day (I'm a fast food eater). If I drink even the slightest bit of carbonated soda, I'm in trouble... stomach becomes bloated and pain sets in if I don't let it out the rear end... are you saying this pain is coming from the intestines ? Cause I sure can't burp it out any way I try... it would be a lot less embarrassing.

Perhaps you have a digestive intolerance for a kind of food. What are you eating?

So even when you drink a carbonated soda, you don't ever burp.. and the "pressure" eventually comes out your rear end? :Q

Dude, that's fscked up.

I think ColdCut is just referring to his abdomen, not the literal stomach organ. It's like "I have a tummy ache"--Can mean anything!

As for the original post--Gas-X or equivalent (simethicone) should work. Also might want to avoid foods that exacerbate gas production.
