Caffeine is a diuretic and will actually dehydrate you. Dehydration can lead to fatigue.

Starbucks Double Shot + Frappachino, then a couple hours later, mountain dew with chocolate cookies from the snack machine. High loads of caffeine and sugar.
 
what i do is that once in awhile i got to the bathroom, but the toilet lid down and sit on it and just doze off for like 15-20 minutes. it helps a lot. trust me. drink coffee, post on AT.
 
I've found that no matter how much sleep I got the night before, I'll feel tired and about to fall asleep no matter what if what I'm doing at work is boring. On the other hand, if I'm working on something I find interesting, I'll feel alert even if I didn't get a lot of sleep the night before.
