trying to flash the BIOS. in win98 i could just restart in msdos and run the flash utility, but in 2000 there is no "restart in ms-dos" option....so how do i flash my bios?

also, in win98 there was the msconfig utility. what is its equivalent in 2000?

win2k is not based on DOS, therefore no way to boot to it. download a boot disk for win98 or whatever from www.bootdisk.com

Also, there is not an msconfig util in 2k, it is in the startup group and registry run and runonce entries. Either you can do it manually or you can get the msconfig util from XP (works fine in 2k)
