How do you shave with out making your neck bleed?

well....kinda.

First pass (clean looking shave)

on the face: top to bottom
on the neck: bottom to top

Second pass (baby's ass smooth shave)
on the face: bottom to top
on the neck: top to bottom

most people dont realize that the hair grain direction on the neck is opposite that on the face. It would look pretty damn funny if the neck grain was top to bottom

I shave in the shower with Dr. Bronner's Magic Soap (Peppermint). If I shave at the sink I always cut myself.

i use an electric shaver and have never had any problems with it. the only thing i don't like is it kinda sucks at getting the longer hairs.

Ummm...I'm pretty sure most people's hair is that way on their necks. On my neck all my hair kind of grows away from my chin.

The trick is an up-down motion. The side to side stuff simply doesn't work. :Q

Actually, my neck gets tiny little cuts no matter how sharp or dull my blade is. It's because of the way my hairs come out at an angle. The most I can do is not press too hard when shaving up, but it still doesn't feel too great.

Shave more often... The longer the hairs are, the more cuts you get when they're being shaved off.

Teheheh, yeah, shaving with an electric is probably the safest way to shave while you're slapping men's asses.

That's the opposite for me. If I shave less than 2-3 days apart I get chopped up badly, even with a new blade. If I let me whiskers get a bit longer the shave is much easier and the results are much smoother, and no cuts. It's odd and drives me nuts as I can't have a consistently smooth face - if I try, I bleed to death. This is even with a brand new Mach 3 or Mach 3 Turbo and Neutrogena shave gel ($5.00 a can). Oh well.

Best gift I ever got was an anti fog mirror for my shower, that way I can shave while I am showering and see what I am doing, it is the only way that I can shave, do a good job, and not get overly cut. Cuts down on time also since I only have to shave once now instead of the three or four times to get it right before.

I've had no problem going against the hair (bottom up) without washing up with hot water. I must have rubbery skin.

That'd be your problem right there.

actually i shave against the grain for a closer shave, i have a pretty thick beard and ive never had that problem. i shave with a Mach 3 and face wash (dont like shaving cream)

I just shave in the shower. I put some soap on my face and shave. I've never had a bloody face, ever.
