How do you serve ketchup with your fries?

On the side.
But if the fries are good enough, ketchup just spoils the taste.
But if I do have something with my fries, I prefer tartar sauce mixed with a little ketchup.

I only douse them with salt and pepper.

Maybe if it were a scramble/skillet then I'd put ketchup on it.
 
Fries will kill you dead, but when I do eat them, which is rare, I will salt them first, then splooge them with ketchup, then pepper them profusely. 😉 BTW, I actually like tarter sauce on them, more than Ketchup. Once I get on the tartar, I like it on the burger too! Another one that ain't all bad is some mayo, or miracle whip with a hint of mustard mixed in. That makes a great fry sauce as well. 😛
