A few co-workers and I got into this discussion; how do you pronounce Anand's name.

I say Ah-NAHND. They say Ah-NAAND (nasal A). Is it the destructive American accent kicking in here, like the work "Carribean"?

For the record, I say potaTOE.

And it's WOO dammit!

Well folks, I think it's safe to say it's pronounced Ah-nahnd. Or at least that's what I'm going to say just so I can say I say it right. So THERE!

It's probably Ah-NAAH-UND if you want to get specific.

One girl laughed at me for pronouncing the name 'Nader' like NADE-ER saying it's NAAH-DER.

 

Yeah, this subject's been discussed more than enough times.

I say soemthing like Ah-Nahnd Lal-Shim-Pi. But some and other times I say Ah-Nand.
