how do you remove shell extensions?

anyone know how to remove/modify shell extentions?
i installed this program which added itself to my shell extention so whenever i right click on a folder, its there
now that i've uninstalled it, i can't seem to get rid of these extensions
help
 
nm, got it to install in XP

however, i still dont' know where i go to delete these darn shell extensions!!
 
You should have said you had XP first off. Since you got it to install go to the new tab and unclick the appropriate item.
 
actually i wasn't talking about the progs that show up when you right click and select "new"
its when i right click an icon, say like a folder, and it'll say "zipkiller this folder" where "zipkiller" is the prog that i installed previously

I don't know about that one. You may have to go through your registry and remove all traces of the program there.
