What is the Animal Style all about? Is it just for the fries?

Ill agree with some previous posters that the burgers are the best and the fries are pretty awful.

Animal style = grilled onions, cheese, sauce, (pickles?).

You can get it on a burger or fries.

In N Out isn't just about the food either. The food is great for fast food, some of the best. The inside eating areas are hardly ever dirty. The drive through microphone works and isn't distorted. You can understand the person on the other end of that microphone. If the mic is down, they send someone out to get your order. They always review your order before you pay. I have never had my order screwed up before at In N Out.

btw they stopped serving anything higher than a 4x4, just so you know

I think it's actually a 4x6. And they will still sell you the extra meat/cheese on the side if you want it.

Great food. I'm sick of it though. I used to go out every weekend or more to In-n-Out with my friends. When summer rolled around it was like every other day. When you have too much you learn to hate the place. I know it's cuz I'm sick of it that I won't go there for a long time, but it's definitely good food.

anything more than a 3x3 and imo, it gets gross. The balance of textures between the lettuce, tomatoes and onions get completely covered by meat and cheese.
That being said, In-n-out is the BEST fast food burger out there, bar none.

Excellent burgers, high quality American cheese

I am disappointed that they feel the need to put bible passages on the packaging. I wish they would expand to Portland. I've even sent emails. :(

Why's everyone down on their fries? They are made fresh from real Potatoes right in front of you (pretty cool machine they have). So if you don't like their fries, you don't like potatoes? Seems weird :p - I haven't had their fries in a long time but I remember them being good.

Beats me, I love their fries. Sure, it's not the normal crispy french fry you get at other fast food joints, but there's just something about them. Animal Style fries FTMFW.

Simple no frills place that serves good portioned basic burgers with nicely textured fries (IMO) at a good price.

I am not a religious person but I don't see why this bothers people. To be honest with you, I have been to In-N-Out a number of times and I had never even noticed.
