I know this was fun and borderline nef, but I have had a realistic view of addiction thrust on me. It started with cocaine, then oxy, then when oxys got expense, it was heroin. There is a pink urn sitting in our kitchen and May 3rd is the 1 year mark where they found her in the half-way house bathroom without a heartbeat. On the 6th, they declared her dead. On the 7th, they flew the organ donor flag over the hospital in Wilmington, NC.

I joined the family when she was 9. She died when she was 25, one semister from finishing a degree. Her mom is back to crying at least once a day as we come up on this anniversary.

So, maybe you might want to think about addiction a little more. Pot is pot and not like what I wrote. But, she did that too. I would prefer pot legalized. I do not partake. But I also would now like to see Singapore justice for heroin dealers.

And as noted, if you need to get high to enjoy the movies, maybe you should find better movies. There have been TONS of threads in ATOT with suggestions. :D

PS - most drug treatment places are SHIT. The 12 step program is how they treat heroin addicts and DLTDHYWTGLSY on day 29. It does NOT work. Is there a better way? I am sure. I have yet to see one. We tried 3 in GA, 1 in PA, and 1 in VA and a couple of those were highly recommended. But it seems it is more about billing and getting someone to fork over $1500 bucks initially to start treatment; outcome is not important.

So, you might want to look at books on Winning from major athletes. It is about the ability to work through the nagging stuff that pushes you past it.
