I just don't see it any other way.
How do you see Why-key-pedia in that?
Or wick for that matter.
 
I knew wick-a-pee-dee-uh before I had ever heard of wikees. Ain't no going back now.

I don't pronounce it with an "a" sound for the second "i".

Wik-ih-pee-dee-a

Although wickypedia would probably be the correct pronunciation since it preserves the pronunciation of wiki.
