How do you pronounce the word HUMAN? (as in Human Being)

I watch many news type shows (CNN, MSNBC, Fox, etc) and when they say the word it's like wth?????
There are only 2 selections because it's my pole. If you want to add a different selection, make your own pohl 🙂

This reminds me of something - why do some people say and spell "an historian"? The h is a hard h, and "an" is only used for words beginning with a vowel, or a vowel sound.

Yoo-min? Who says that?

Watch the news, they say it alot. Geraldo is one of them. I've also seen 'O'reily' say Yoomin! **LMAO** It's like they don't pronounce the "H"

edit---- They rarely say it with words like Humanitarian but HUMAN????....... It's most likely coming out YooMin.

H, spelled phonetically, is 'aitch', which starts with a vowel.

"Vowel sound" meaning in the sound of the word, not the sound of the letter without context.

Hue-MON..

Like the NORMAL Hue-MON 4th grader that went back in time to save Cartman from his Dawson's Creek Trapper Keeper.

It's Hue man. Anything else is wrong.

Just like when the Clarence Thomas hearing were going on, the talking heads started pronouncing "Harassment" as "Hair ess ment".
No, it's "Hair ASS ment". You pronounce the "ass".

Just like you say the "H" in Human.

"sexual hair ess ment is a very serious charge, Mr. Griffin"

/random Family Guy reference

News reporters pronounce all kinds of things wrong. Usually when they start with an H. They just assume that you never pronounce the H which just makes them sound like dumbasses.
