How do you pronounce Onkyo?

Just wondering how you pronounce Onkyo - the stereo component manufacturer.

You guys are off. It's a Japanese company.

Correct japanese pronunciation is "oh-n-kyo"

oh - short "o"
n - as in "bent"
kyo - as in "key" + "yo" ("kyoh")

Hehe. Actually, 3 of my friends own different Chinese restaurants, and whenever they say "Pok Fied Ice" I always give it to them...

I always called it 'On-yoko" :D

Never really looked at it that close before :)

Yeah it definitely sounds like "ON-KEY-OH". They make a badass A/V receiver btw...
