How do you pronounce "niche"?

its nich. the e is silence. i took some business classes for fun and the teachers said it almost every class.

By east, I meant across the Atlantic (a la Europe). Sorry for the confusion :p

Definately pronounced "Neesh".

I'm 29 UK born and bred and have never heard 1 person pronounce it "Nitch"
