I think I pronounce it that way (Aussie), however thinking about it has confused me ;)

I've heard "me lee" too, but it just sounds silly. "May lay" is the correct way!

pretty much everyone i know who plays WoW says Me-Lee

That doesn't to much to support the me-lee side though, does it

The word is French, as is also my wife, Aimee. Her name is pronounced, A- MAY, not A-ME, as in AMY, or AMIE.

I pronounce it incorrectly, and I have no plans to change. It sounds better.

yea this isn't one of those cases where you can argue how to say it...there's only one correct pronunciation.

Well that explains why Dictionary.com lists 3 pronunciations.

Well, apparently your complete lack of reading comprehension skills explains why you posted the above, because as anyone who looks at that page can plainly see there ONE pronunciation of the word (albeit with different inflections of the syllables)....but you're looking at 3 different DEFINITIONS of the word....not pronunciations. The pronunciation for the word all the way down the page is exactly the same, single way, no matter the different definitions.

You really make me worry about my retirement and who is going to be running this country 20 years from now.....or maybe not. Certainly you won't be in any position of responsibility beyond managing a McDonalds.......if even that, given your current reading skills.

As a level 34 dungeon master, either way works...your party isn't surviving this encounter anyway.

WWYBYWB?
your post makes me think you've been here a long time.

also, the mods need to start coming into these threads and saying " the word is pronounced BAN." and then ban the motherf-ers who keep making these dumbass threads.
