Gernade? WTF?

When you speak at normal gait, the two meld together because they sound very similar. Otherwise, if it's like an accent thing, it could be weird.

I disagree. I know Americans have difficulty with the subtleties of the language, but this is pretty fucking obvious. GRE not GER.

I can't remember- is it spelled granades, gernades, or grenades? Anyone who pronounces it otherwise is an idiot. You heard it here first.

No poll option for me... interchangeably gra- and gre- nades. It depends on the context, kinda like using an vs. a.

Why would anyone say "gernade"? Unless they have the literacy skills of a five year old.

Or they say it more like "grrr-nade" and it gets exaggerated into "ger-nade" to differentiate from the other common pronunciations.

It's quite obviously wrong

So is every single piece of slang you use.

Usually I'd side with the English police, but this just seems like a giant circle-jerk.

Sounds like the guy is saying ger nade.

Firstly, get your ears checked retard. Secondly, l2read a pronunciation key. It's not difficult. In this case, the "r" coming before the "?" is a pretty solid indicator.

I thought you were banned... o_O

Firstly, get your eyes checked retard. He's obviously not banned.

British English sucks. It's quite obviously rev. 1 of the language. This has nothing to do with this thread.
