Well its in your name...but TIA can be pronounced with a "sha" sound. For instance... confidential...

Now please learn some English before you go steering others in the wrong direction.

PS: I'd agree with you on the first option since they are all cap'd.

Comp - tee - a, because when you call them, that is how the automated attendant says the name of the company. You know that marketing would never let them get that wrong.

Since CompTIA means Computing Technology Industry Association, I'd imagine the TIA is to be pronounced as the individual letters printed. To try to pronounce TIA as a word would be analogous to trying to pronounce FBI or CIA as a word, which we don't.

"It is pronounced Comp-tee-ah"

Interesting, I wouldn't have thought they'd prononunce an abbreviation like this.

I've always pronounced it Comp-tee-eye-aye.

Now back to watching my movie which is about a rogue agent in the see-ah.
