How do you pronouce "ethernet?"

Is it: "eee-thernet"

or: "eh-thernet" ?

I've heard both; which is correct?

i've gotten yelled at for saying "eh-thernet"

"this is the internet, not something that can knock you out"

blah blah whatever.

The "E"s are all silent, the Th sounds like an F, make the T into a K sound, and the N is really a U Sound....

I say "eh-thernet" mainly to annoy the Mac people who hate hearing "eh-thernet" instead of "ee-thernet". Usually I just call it 10 Base-T, or 100 Base-TX because it confuses the Mac people, just like calling "firewire" by its real name (IEEE 1394) leaves them dumbfounded.
