How do you PM a moderator?

I got an email saying that they would help me with a problem I'm having .. all I had to do is PM them ... well I went and enabled my PM .. now how do I figure out who is a moderator and PM them ... this may be stupid and Im sorry to take up space for this ,... but its been awhile since I've been a regular .. and even when I was .. I never had a need to PM one or the moderators ... Thanks

Maybe you could try looking up his/her/its profile?

Well, if they aren't in your history already from previous PM's (Which from what you said, I'm gathering they aren't.) you look on "Who's online" and look under the "A" category. If there is a Moderator logged in, you'll see them there and can PM them from there. Or....you can do a search and type AnandTech Moderator (or however they spell/space it) in the author spot.

They didnt give me any name .. it just said "AnandTech Moderator" so that doesn't narrow it down much .. and being that I don't know any of them ... it makes it a little difficult ... I'm hoping one will see this topic and post something so I can PM them .

Yeah, you can't PM a specific mod. You just PM "Anandtech Moderator" and eventually one of the mods will respond if needed.

Yeah, if we were able to do that....the Fun Mod would be very, very busy. heehee

lol .. I can see a reasoning behind that ... I didnt care which mod .. I just needed a mod ... lol .. I copied and pasted the letter I was sent .. so that the mod would know what I was talking about and wouldnt think I was crazy ... and then gave them all the info the mod who emailed me requested .. so hopefully things will be kewl .. and I will get all my old credits back ... when changing emails back several months ago .. I forgot to change my info on myaccount here .. and then I forgot my password .. so I couldnt get back in to my old account .. so had to start all over again. Boy was that aggrivating ...
