How do you plug in headsets (with mikes)?

I am thinking of buying a nice set of headphones so I can use them for Counterstrike and WOW clan gaming. However, I have both slots of my sound card taken up for front/rear on my speakers.. so what do you do when you want to plug them into your soundcard?

Go out and buy a splitter at your local electronics store, should cost 5 bucks or less.

Or speakers with a headphone and mic port on the volume control. 🙂
