I use My Documents (for non-mp3 stuff), but only since microcrap word defaults to it, as well as the rest of the microcrap family. Laziness is the bane of innovation.

Am I the only one who uses an "Artist--Song.mp3" format? Also, I have all my mp3's in one folder.

On CD's by type (Several CD's for Pop/Rock, one for Christmas, one for humor, a few for soundtracks, a few for classical/instrumental) and using the standard name format of Band Name - Song Name.mp3

i use a program called 4-MP3. it lets me mass rename
files so i can get names like "artist_title_www.whatever.com.mp3" to
something like "Artist - Title.mp3" in one process...then i save it to a database and use the program to play/search for artists/titles i have, which is stored on my cdrw's.

one big folder i started back in 1997 called "mpeg" (for mpeg1 layer 3 audio). if a folder called my music had been stuck on my harddrive before i started collecting mp3z, i probably would have used it. actually, thats a really suck name. anyway, a lot of mp3s are in there, artist - song.mp3, with one folder called "weird" in which i have some really fscked up britney spears remixes and parodies.
