How do you organize your MP3 files?

I just have folders for each artist, each MP3 goes into that folder. It's all organized in iTunes into playlists for my iPod.

for starters, I don't repost them

they're organized in folders... 1 folder is for full albums that I've burned. for singles and such, they're by Genre -> Artist (or just free standing in the Genre folder if I don't have enough songs by a particular artist to justify making a folder for him/her).

a "My Music" folder on D: Drive.... everything is organized by artist/album, and has the thumbnail album cover images

In theory:

E:\ == mp3 partition
Root has all artists that I only have one song for
Any artist that I have 2 or more songs by get their own directory.
Albums get subdirectories.

In practice, there are a bunch of 2 song artists in the root and a few albums that are 'various artists'

1 folder called MP3z then any band with more than 4 mp3z gets its own folder, and fill albums get their own folder within the band folder.
singles go into a giant Singles folder
