And the after-school special cliches show up once again. Not that I necessarily disagree with this point of view, but it's not like everyone hasn't heard it a thousand times before. The people who are going to take it to heart don't need to be told, the people who don't care, just plain don't care and ignore it.

Good, sound advice. Just do what you enjoy doing and you're bound to meet some attractive members of the opposite sex who share your interests. Then you have a base for conversation and the ice is basically already broken.

if you want things to make an ice breaker try this: (i'e not used this but I read it somewhere though...)

walk up to a girl and just introduce yourself. Then turn to a guy preferberly your friend and tell her that guy asked you to come over to her and ask her if she thought he was attractive. Then you get her reply. You don't care what it is then you say what about me then? Then if she says yes then you just talk and know that she finds you some what attractive. If she says no then just chat......

I'm ripped and buff and strong.. and usually I don't have to, with all the women chasing me.. (Oh my gawd!! You're in a Cisco class?! Teach me to set up a WAN.. at my place.. *giggle*) but when the bar's usual transvestites aren't present, that always gets me hooked up.
