How do you make your tuna salad?

Mine is pretty simple. I don't really like celery so I don't put that in mine. Basically it's just the following:

-Drained Tuna
-Mayonaise
-Salt
-Pepper

I just mix it up until it tastes pretty good. However it still doesn't taste like the kind I get when I go to Subway or something (I really like tuna subs at Subway). I'm just wondering what types of stuff you all put in your tuna salads because I'm about to make some now :p

EDIT: I'm just talking about preparing it to put it on a sub or sandwich lol, my bad if I have the wording wrong, as I haven't really ate tuna since I was younger.

what the hell is missing from mine that doesn't give it that "bite" that the one at Subway has? It just seems like mine doesn't have QUITE as much flavor as when I get the tuna sub at Subway.

EDIT: their's seems so basic like mine.

I would go with some sweated leaks or shallots in place of the onion.

Canned tuna:
Tuna
Mayo
Whole grain mustard
Lemon
Celery
Onion
maybe some carrot and/or bell pepper
Tony Chachere's

Also, if I have some real tuna that's been in the freezer a bit too long, I'll poach it with lemon, flake it and mix with olive oil, parsley, capers, a little more lemon and red onions. It's delicious.

You could throw in some cayenne pepper too.. that's a good way to spice it up - just don't put too much!

Just Tuna and enough mayo to make it moist. I really don't like mayo at all, but you can't taste it in that small amount
:)

I once asked the guy at Subway why their tuna tasted different from what I made at home - he said they put something in it to preserve it, which changes the taste and texture. Also they chop it up in the blender so that it's finer than what I get from the can.

I  Subway tuna.
