How do you make sour mix at home?

Looking to make some whiskey sours, saw a post a long time ago on anandtech with instructions but I cant dig it up

Easy enough...2 ounces of Whiskey, one lemon juice, half a teaspoon of sugar...stick it all in your shaker (with some ice obviously ), pour...

[Edit] Some people use more sugar...not me though

If I wanted a sweet drink I would have gotten a Zima with a Diet Coke on the side

Heh heh. When it comes to making drinks, I find that looking up recipes is far less fun than experimenting

1 1/2 oz Southern Comfort
2 oz Sweet and sour
1 splash Lemon juice

Try that one, and no, I'm not going to tell you the name. You'll have to look it up.

I only know the naughty name for that one . I'm sure most people would just call it a southern sour though...
