Three pizza related topics on the first page!? C'mon, you're just trying to make me hungry! Might hafta go get some pizza.

You can use regular, but you get better results with high protein flour.

Damn it, I wrote up a guide but the site is down right now.

My recipe:

Flour (regular)
Olive oil (extra virgin)
Yeast (regular)
Lukewarm beer (Belgian beers work best. Only use beer YOU would drink)

I used to work in a pizza place, and it's practically the same recipe, so I can't tell you the measurements. Try it out for yourself. After about 5 minutes of kneading, you should get a nice, non-sticky ball. Let that rise for ~30 minutes, knead again and let rise for another ~15 minutes. After that, use it 🙂.

4 cups flour
1 1/2 cups water
2 TBSP sugar
2 TBSP oil
1 1/2 TSP salt
1 packet yeast

I also use cornmeal on the dough - and add garlic to the crust, in addition to mixxing olive oil, garlic, and cornmeal together and brushing that on the crust edges 🙂

is the sugar neccessary? (ie: to react w/the yeast?)

1) 2 gallons of water
2) Add 1 yeast packet
3) stir water and wait 15 minutes
4) 1 - 25 pound bag of flour in blender
5) 2 cups oil
6) Add water solution.
7) mix until it becomes a ball.

whats the point of the yeast if you dont wait for the dough to rise?

(link says mix INGREDIENTS and just pop in oven. no need to wait for the dough to rise)
