How do you like your steak?

medium rare, cooked about 3 minutes per side (on a 1.5" steak) at 500 degress. Taken off the heat at 140-145 degrees.

mostly pink with slightly red center, juices still somewhat red...never cut until she's sat for about 7 minutes.

heheh, eat one about 3 times a week.
 
well it also depends wher ein the world you are.

in the US i like it medium-rare.
but in Europe, a US medium rare is a european medium.

if you order medium rare here in europe you'll get a US rare.
 
medium rare <-> medium

anywhere in there is fine, with a beer and soem kind of veggie and a patato

That's the way it's supposed to be.

No A1 on a rare steak. If I get a free well done steak then I've got to use A1.

Anyway, just some pepper, salt, and maybe a little garlic on the steak.
 
goddamnit you guys are making me hungry. except for those of you who voted well-done, bleh.

medium rare for me, but usually places cook my medium rare medium well, so i have to order rare to get something close to medium rare.
