How do you like to have your lows, mids and highs set?

I usually have my highs and lows just a little higher than my mids.

EQ settings tell you nothing unless you know the system and the environment.

I set mine to get rid of the annoying sounds on my crappy system.

I used to adjust them alot, but flat is really the best, it is the way it is meant to be played, adjusting is particular to the listener. WIth a good aduio system, flat is awesome.

Depends. I like a good healthy dose of the mids since that's where the meat n potatoes of the music reside but really as flat as possible. Some people like the uber hifi sound ala Bose which I generally find pretty hollow sounding.

On all the stereos in my family's history the equalizer bands have always looked something like this. Duplicate for left and right channels. I always refered to it as the Nike swoosh setup.

Same except I don't refer to it as the Nike swoosh setup.

+8dB @ 63Hz, -15dB @ 125Hz, flat(0dB) everywhere else.

I've found this sounds best on my setup. I listen to mostly metal, and it lets the bass drums come through clean.

Depending on the song, I also change the EQ on my stereo.. Only slightly tho, as the controls are sensitive.
