How do you know which mode your graphics card is running?

Just like my subject, how do you find out? My setup is e6300 oc to 2.7(couldn't get any higher, I think its my memory) cosair value ram, 2gig, running at 780 mhz, gigabyte geforce 7600gt x16 pcie card, asus p5b deluxe board.

Mode? You mean 2d mode or 3d mode? Look at the clocks using rivatuner, if theyre lower than stock its in 2d mode. It might actually say "2d mode", dont know as i use atitool to check mine.

Dont know of any other "modes" you could be referring to...

thanks. Thats what I mean. x1 or x16, in cpuz, it shows x1 not x16. so what am I doing wrong?

Do you have it in the blue PCI-E slot? That's all I know to tell you, because I don't have that board.

On my Asus P5B dlx I had to change the PCI-E bus in bios to 110 and now 112 to get the 16X mode - must be power or higher FSBs thats causing this.
