How do you know what size engagement ring to get

My fiance and I went ring shopping. At the 2nd store we went to, she instantly found the band she wanted. After I knew which one, I went to a custom jeweler to have it made to the exact specifications as the name brand one, but for a fraction of the price lol.

Involved her in the ring choice or she'll secretly always be pining for the ring she really wanted.

If you find a decent woman, she will not give 2 flying fugs about the ring but the fact that you are marrying her.

Ring buying experience = great sign of things to come/shit filter test.

You guy the ring that you can afford and within budget.

Sure, that's the most important thing. However you are deluding yourself if you think they don't have an opinion about the type of cut or style of the setting. Of course a good wife will probably never voice this. It's not about the cost as you seem to be assuming.

Yeah, I just said "go in there {point to jewelry store} and find out what ring size you are. I might need that information some day, but not today."

I took the GF ring shopping a few weeks back and it was one of the best decisions ever. She got sized and we discussed what exactly she was looking for in an engagement ring. Lucky for me, she doesn't see the point in spending much money on rings or the wedding itself for that matter.

ask her mom/sister/best friend... girls know this kind of shit.

or get a fake somethingorother and take her to pick out the real thing after she (hopefully) says yes.

Whichever size fits her nose best.

Now, picking out the chain that will loop thru the ring; that's the toughy.

This is the easiest question in the world to answer; you don't.

Getting married in the US is probably #2 on the list of the top 3 stupidest things to do. 50% chance of her getting half your shit in your future might be acceptable to you, but more intelligent people know better. Get something you can pawn for the highest value as you roll the dice and call it a day.

Oh. And make some plans to hide all your assets/funds in Bitcoin when the letter from her Lawyer comes in.

Good luck!
Don't be a spoil sport....

As they say to have love and lost is better than never having loved at all

Besides the one who has the most money isn't the most successful. If that were so, so many very rich won't be so miserable in their empty lives

If you get one that's too small and you can't get it off...

Swipe one of her existing rings. Da lades play around with rings they're wearing and switch them between fingers on a regular basis.

A couple months before I asked her I dropped some innocent questions about finger size/compared hand size in a flirtatious way ect...Eventually I found out her size.
I picked her engagement ring out myself. I got a feel for the cuts she liked though. The wedding bands were the ones we picked out together.
