How do you Kill the sutpid media player in windows Me?

I did a fresh reformat, and I end up with this crap on my machine, unable to be uninstalled.

how do i kill it so I an use media player 6.4?

......as for your're problem SS, I think you are stuck, as Window Media 7 was one of the major selling points for Me. Sorry :\

there are no unistall programs?
I tried installing wmp7 from microsoft, but then It would not let me uninstall it.

try clicking start, go to run and type mplayer2, then click OK.

Goto C:\program files\Windows Media Player\ then start mplayer2.exe then goto view,options,then Formats, then select all , now Media player 6.4 will start as in win98.

yeah, I have done that already, but is there anyway I can eliminate wmp7?
its a horrible player, considering winamp and 6.4 rule it.
