i like to do this:
sunday = off
monday = weight training
tuesday = cardio
wednesday = weight training
thursday = cardio
friday = weight training
saturday = weight training & cardio

i have been sticking to this routine for about 9 months and i have gone up 75-100% in weightlifting and cut my 2 mile run from 18 minutes to 11 1/2 minutes.

I'm mindful of what I eat, though not overly restrictive.

And I do little things that add up, like walking instead of taking the subway two stops, and parking far away in parking lots (easier to get out after shopping/movie is over, too 🙂).

Also once or twice a week, I go and run a mile or two and lift some weights at the gym. It sucks while you're doing it, but the pride and the endorphin rush at the end is great 🙂

I used to do cardio (elliptical) every day. Nowadays I work in construction, so that's excercise enough. Gonna get back to cardio when I quit my job in a week.

I drink a lot of soda and eat ice cream. BTW, my shape is somewhat round. 😛

Next monday, I start hitting the gym though 🙁

During college: Gym 4-5 days a week, volleyball twice a week (in a rec center in florida with no air conditioning).

Now: Gym 2-3 days a week.

I don't gain weight if I stop going to the gym, though. I lose it. 🙁
