How do you keep busy?

I started a business ~4.5 years ago and that's kept me busy for through most of that time, but with things stabilizing up I have a few extra hours most evenings that I'm not used to having.

I'm taking a krav maga class twice a week and go to the gym which is awesome, spend weekends full of alcohol one way or another--but there's still a few days a week where I find myself bored at home.

Not a fan of video games and there's only so much good TV I can keep up with, what else is there?

Basically I'm 27 now and feel like I can occupy myself 24/7 without a burnout factor, and want to use the opportunity to do it now while I still have all the freedom in the world.

sounds like you need some more hobbies. i have a giant list of things to do and not enough time...

recently i've wanted to get into modeling as it is something that doesn't need a ton of space or expensive equipment to get started.

think of exercise based things that are also time consuming and fun. Hiking, biking, mountain climbing, etc. some of things may have an initial investment, but once you start doing it you will probably never stop.

fap fap fap fap fap fap..

You can get into gaming.. or some kind of DIY thing.

Or homebrewing, cooking(My favorite thing), learn a programming language.

I see you are off to a lucrative start....

:hmm:

golf. 18 holes when you are starting can easily last 6 hours. Especially if you are going to a crowded course. Then you can start betting on each hole. lots o fun and major time killer.

by a sports car and get yourself lost in some canyons. then you can spend all day tinkering with it in your garage. Then spend more time fixing the stuff you broke tinkering with it.

Surfing. nothing like swallowing salt water at the break of dawn. great work out too

Buy lots of guns. then shooting cans in the desert or range. You'll spend a lot more time cleaning them, then firing them. At least I do.

Well right now I'm taking a break from work having gotten 6 hours of sleep after ~34 hours awake. Then I'm going to the dining hall to get breakfast and finish 2 labs by 3 this afternoon (EST). Then, Friday Night Magic: The Gathering with one of my friends. Haven't played this in years and finally found a place that hosts it. 🙂

Do you own a house or condo? Lots of DIY that will devour your free time esp. if you don't know what the fuck you are doing

So....should we expect to see you in a clothing catalog soon or something?

Golf, hiking, camping, grilling, barbequing, cooking in general, swimming, boating, working on the house, etc. Most of these activities involve my wife, kids, inlaws.

Plenty to do.

I keep busy trying to find a job I can do that pays more than $5.50 hour, that and ensuring I have shelter...keeps me busy.
