How do you identify which CPU batch you got?

This chip is definitely worth the price. Newegg did send the 1MB L2 Clawhammer like advertised. It was a C0 revision, but it was towards the last batch (14th week of this year), and it overclocks quite well, unlike the early batches.

That is from one of the review for the 3400+ Clawhammer at Newegg. Okay...so how can he identify which batch his C0 rev he got? I got the C0 revision as well, but I heard that it suck at OCing.

You'll just have to physical examine the code printed on the chip for the production week. Programs like CPU-z or WCPUID may be able to give you the revision, but are unable to see the batch week.

Those are what I see it written on my chip. All I know is that "AP" is the C0 rev, but don't know how to identify the batch week though.

So is my chip any good for OCing? Or is it still the same old C0 revision that is not very good with OCing like the CG one?

Thanks
