How do you hook up a psu to the mobo, etc?

Ok i finally got all my parts, this is my first time building a computer, but i have no earthly idea where these wires and ribbons go, i can hook up the general stuff like video card, ram, hd, cd drives, etc. Is there a site online that shows you how to do it? For info its a p4s333 mobo with a p4 northwood.

you stuff should have come with manuals... the power source has these cables right? plug them into the motherboard... they can only fit one way....

well, one was supposed to , but he keeps giving me the run around, i think he was just trying to act like he knew how to and now that i asked him he has no clue what to do either.

Ahh... The ones that us on ATOT make fun of.

You pretty much just plug the stuff in wherever it fits.. .Remember not to touch any circuitry on cards or RAM with your fingers or you may destroy it (especially the RAM) because of static. Only handle the RAM sticks by its edges. If the component is not in the computer, it should be in its antistatic bag. Installing the CPU may require some careful considerations if not extra help (especially if your CPU didn't come with heatsink/fan built onto it). When mounting the motherboard, again, try not to touch any circuitry. Also, be careful when screwing it in, you don't want a screw to fall behind the motherboard, and short it out.
