How do you hook up a playstation 2 (ps2) to a PC monitor?

I've heard of some things such as VGA box or linux kit, but I don't know what brand, type, or how much they cost.

Can someone please guide me in the right direction on how to connect a ps2 to a PC LCD monitor? I have a Samsung 206BW 20" LCD monitor that I use with my PC.

well what brand is good? There are some out there, but not sure how reliable. And how good is the picture quality?

Now a Tuner/capture card will be cheaper but there is a bit of lag with the PC having to process the data. So it can effect game play.

I tired the second option for my 360 (before I found out they made cable for what I wanted). It worked, but there was a 3 second delay between pushing a button and it being displayed on the monitor. This method makes any game beyond a very simple 2D puzzle unplayable.

Do NOT use a TV/Tuner/Capture card.

Get a adapter or buy a compatible TV.

That converter looks cool, does anyone know how reliable it is and how good a ps2 looks with it?

My monitor does not have composite, only VGA and DVI.

I remember playing GTA3:VC on my friend's computer through an old rage all in wonder and there was no lag. Also, don't most video cards support video in, video out? Another one of my friends plays his ps2 through video in on his 8800gtx in windows media player.
