How do you guys like the Tagan 480 W PSU?

The PSU itself is great; very powerful and quiet; think OCZ minus the pointless bling. The downside is Tagan may be in trouble as support has said to be non-existent recently.

I agree with Operandi but the OCZ seems more robust (ie Higher Quality, And more power). Tagans are excellent PSU's that are very stable, i would say noise wise they are quieter than the OCZ by a little. I have been hearing things about their Customer Service though.

Well OCZ and Tagan are both made by Topower. In fact the high-end units are based on the same Topower unit so quality will be identical as it's effectively out of OCZ's and Tagan's hands.

That doesn?t affect quality; Topower still builds them so build quality remains the same which in my experience has been really good.

Ive heard from MANY people it makes an annoying clicking sound...whats that all about? im getting rid of this one BECAUSE of that!

I've heard that a few of the first ones had fans that made a faint clicking, I haven't heard of the problem recently. Either way it's something you'd only notice if you system was very quiet to begin with.
