How do you guys like Seasonic?

unfourtunately, my mobo was damaged when I got it. I havent taken it out of the box yet. When I get a good mobo, I will let you know!

Seasonic is the only brand of PSU I will use-- I hate noise and the Seasonics are just about the quietest fan-cooled PSUs you can buy.

I have Super Tornado 300 and 350s in my present machines, and an S12 on the way for a new gaming rig.

BTW.. The Super Silencer uses only a 80mm fan. Go Super Tornado or S12-- The 120mm fan ventilates better and is quieter.

Yes, I went with Super Tornado too for that reason

Silent PC says it's good it must be... they have best PSU testing on net... Unfortunatly they don't so a lot. Need more tests.

I was going to buy the Super Tornado 400W from Newegg, but they ran out. I bought it from Directron.com instead.Link here

It's on sale for $76, but Directron charges shipping...Newegg should get them back in stock soon. All works out close to same price...I had Directron ship USPS Priority, got it in 3 days.

I agree with the general consensus:

1. Seasonic makes excellent power supplies
2. The Super Tornado is marginally quieter than the Super Silencer

I am running the Super Tornado 400W, and can't hear it. I would highly recommend them. Also, unless you are running an SLI setup, the 350W supply will be fine. Since powersupplies are typically more efficient at higher usage, you don't want to buy way more than you need anyway.

So, I would definitely get the Super Tornado, and if you want the 400W just get it somewhere other than newegg.
