How do you get the pink gum off the FOP38?

Hey guys,

Just received my FOP38, but i noticed there's some pink sticker on there. I don't want to touch the bottom cuz i heard it's bad to get body oil on the bottom of the HSF. Whats the best way to completely remove that pink sticker thing? Thanks in advance.

scrape it off and clean it with isopropyl alchohol

scrape it off with your fingernail so you don't put small scratches on the face of the HS, then use the alcohol. don't use a razorblade or anything like that.

Probably the best stuff for removing greasy/gooy/sticky stuff is brake cleaner or electric motor cleaner. You can get both at the autoparts store. They come in a spray can for a couple bucks and a pretty much the same thing. Also works great for removing the left over residue when replacing your inspection sticker on your car.

Forget all the scraping and funky chemicals. Just get some good old paint thinner. I used it on mine and just wiped it away.

A raz0r blade worked perfectly for me..

Vegetable oil on a paper towel with take that stuff right off
Then clean it with some isopropyl alcohol.

I gotta say that paint thinner is the best for getting that pink carp off your FOP38, I used paint thinner when I got my FOP38 and the TIM came right off
