or i2p. I suppose freenet, gnunet, and some other overlays count as darknet also. You need a Tor client for that. Google it.
Once you get the Tor browser you will then want to Google for Tor search engines. Use a good Tor search engine to find all kinds of crap. But I highly, HIGHLY recommend you don't ever buy guns, drugs fake passports and IDs. I've read that fake passports are extremely hard to make. The only good fake passport is a real passport in your name. Fake IDs though might be beneficial for opening an anonymous bank account or getting into clubs if you're under 21 and all that lot. Besides all this crap there's child porn on there and other weird shit.
Be advised Tor is not full proof. And you can't trust the exit node. The FBI has shut down many Tor websites as well and they have their fingers in the Tor network. I imagine so does the NSA and probably the CIA and God knows who else.
When I use Tor I use a VPN with a double hop. That way the traffic is encrypted end to end through the Tor network so not even the exit node sees or knows what I'm doing. My VPN is based in Romania as well so that makes it hard to grab logs.
Also note. Tons of spammers use Tor. So if you try to browse this site or others you may in fact get blocked depending on if that particular exit node IP is blacklisted.
Tidbit of the day: It was the U.S. Navy that invited onion routing which inspired what Tor is today.
And what do you do there? I keep hearing about it but have no idea what the deal is. Enlighten me pls
Full disclosure. I don't surf the dark web all that often. Nor do I have a website on the dark web.
I went to the dark web once, to buy a Russian mail order bride. I ended up with an illegal 45 year old Mexican lady with 6 kids. I suspect one of the kids was her baby daddy though. She wouldn't touch me until I married her. When I did all I ended up with was my wallet missing off my dresser and my daughter knocked up.
Can't believe this took 22 replies, anandtech is slippingI'll show you my dark web if you want.
