How do you get rid of the whole Recent Documents Menu in XP?

You know, the one when you click Start.. it says `Documents` and it has the last 15 or so documents you used. I want to get rid of the thing all together so Documents doesn't even show on the start menu. Is there a way I can do this?

Right click the start button, and select properties, select coustomize, select advanced, and at the bottom deselect the box which says "List my most recently opened documents" and apply.. all fixed

Sorry, I should of specified this but I didn't know it made a difference.. i'm using the Classic start menu.. your method only works with the new XP start menu.

Get MS PowerToys for XP. MS took it down but you can find it easily. Even the older version should do the trick (win2k version or older).

I meant TweakUI included in the powertoys. The older version is a stand-alone application.

I found the way to do it, just incase anyone ever searches for the answer to this:

1. Open Regedit
2. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
3. Create a new DWORD value called NoRecentDocsMenu.
4. Modify the new key and change the value to 1
5. Exit Regedit and restart your computer.
