How do you get multiple tabs/instances of the browser in Android?

It does depend on what phone you are using. I think...

For me its menu, new window. Or long press on a link and select "open in new window"

For the stock browser, its Menu>Windows/New Window. Stock doesn't support tabs, so if you want tabs, you install Dolphin HD or Opera Mini.

More features, more options, easier to configure things that are buried/obscured in stock. Opera Mini is considerably faster than stock as well. Dolphin HD is faster too, but the difference isn't as pronounced as it is with Opera.

Still waiting on the full Opera Mobile for Android though.
