How do you get into study mode?

Me: Turn off all communication with the outside world (phone, laptop), turn on the a/c (so I won't fall asleep), grab the notebook/book and CRAM. 6 Hours later I get in the car and go take the test.🙂

I can't work freezing to death so that doesn't work on me.
